Unusual solid hardwood side chair with a notably low-profile back, shaped solid wood seat and gently curved front legs. The back incorporates a broad shaped upper rail, narrow vertical splats and a shaped horizontal lower rail.
With a 17-inch seat height but only 26 inches overall, the chair has normal seating height but an unusually short back. I would catalog it as a low-back side chair rather than a child's chair; comparable adult chairs commonly have seat heights around 17-18 inches, although their overall backs are generally considerably taller.
Type: Low-back side chair
Material: Solid hardwood
Seat: Shaped solid wood
Seat Height: Approx. 17 inches
Overall Height: Approx. 26 inches
Condition: As pictured
