Hand-crafted soapstone rhinoceros sculpture, standing approximately 11 inches tall, executed in a naturalistic, high-character style reminiscent of contemporary animal sculptor Nichola Theakston. The piece features strong anatomical modeling, expressive facial structure, and a tactile, matte surface typical of carved or hand-formed stoneware/soapstone works.
The sculpture presents a compact, grounded stance with subtle detailing along the horn, ears, and hide folds, capturing the quiet mass and presence of the rhinoceros. A well-made decorative or collectible piece suitable for display in modern, rustic, or naturalistic interiors.
