A group of six refillable petrol pocket lighters in silver-tone and brass-tone metal. The collection includes three Swiss-made Thorens rectangular lighters with hinged mechanical ignition assemblies, an IMCO 2200 with perforated windscreen and side lever, a Canadian Kaschie bullet-form lighter with removable pointed cap, and an unmarked rounded rectangular lighter with removable outer cover. Decorative treatments include engine-turned textures, vertical line engraving and personalized souvenir-style engraving. Visible underside markings include Thorens Swiss-made patent and registration information, the IMCO 2200 designation, and Kaschie Made in Canada with Patent No. 358070.
LIGHTER INVENTORY
Three Thorens Swiss-made rectangular petrol lighters with hinged mechanical ignition assemblies: one engine-turned example, one vertically striped example and one engraved, monogrammed example.
One brass-tone IMCO 2200 petrol lighter with perforated windscreen and side-mounted lever.
One Canadian Kaschie bullet-form petrol lighter with removable pointed cap, marked Patent No. 358070.
One unmarked silver-tone rounded rectangular petrol lighter with removable outer cover.

Payment Details:
When picking your items up, you can save 2% on the buyers premium by paying cash or debit. NO discount for E-Transfer! All items not paid for within 48 hours of the conclusion of the auction, will be charged to your credit card. If items are being shipped, your card will be charged twice. Once for your items and again by UPS when shipping has been calculated. Invoices will be sent out at the conclusion of the auction.

Live auctions will be subject to a 18% buyers premium (unless otherwise noted).
Online bidding during the Live Auction is a fast process, and therefore there is no confirmation given - bids will be taken immediately and are irrevocable.
The highest bidder shall be the purchaser upon the completion of bid verification. Bid verification will commence upon the conclusion of a live auction. All winning bidders shall be notified by email within the 24 hour bid verification period.
No bidder shall retract their bid. In the event of a dispute between two or more bidders, the auctioneer, at his/her sole discretion may put the lot up for resale to the highest bidder.
A bidder is deemed to have accepted an item when making a bid.
The auctioneer reserves the right to withdraw any lot at any time prior to the time of sale of such lot.
The auctioneer reserves the right not to accept any bid which is only a partial advance over the preceding bid.
The auctioneer may break down or consolidate any lot or lots at his/her sole discretion.
The Mad Picker assumes no responsibility for any liability once a bid is accepted. It is recommended that purchasers arrange insurance for their purchases in advance.
Except as set out herein, there shall be no warranties or guarantees expressed or implied, statutory or otherwise of any nature. Please take advantage of in person preview as all items are sold "As Is, Where Is" - catalogs are prepared only as a guide. No sale shall be invalidated by any reason or defect or inaccuracy of description in catalog or otherwise, and no liability shall be borne by the auctioneers by virtue of any such fault or error. All sales final.
All applicable excise and sales taxes shall be added to the purchase price.
The purchaser is not entitled to possession until all items have been paid for in full. In the event that the purchase prices are not paid within the prescribed time, the auctioneer shall have the right to resell such items in whatever manner he/she sees fit without notice to the purchaser. Any shortfall from sale plus commission and expenses thereof shall be paid by the purchaser.
All costs and responsibilities of removal shall be borne by the purchaser/bidder within the time prescribed by the auctioneer. The auctioneer may require proof of adequate insurance from the purchaser. The purchaser/bidder herby indemnifies the auctioneer and the vendor against any and all damages arising from the dismantling and removal of any lots.
Any lots not picked up in the prescribed time shall be deemed as abandoned and property of the auction unless previous arrangements have been made.
If for any reason, The Mad Picker is unable to deliver any or all of an awarded lot or title thereof, the sole liability of The Mad Picker Auctions shall be the refund of any monies paid on the lot.
It is the sole responsibility of the purchaser to remove their items within the prescribed time. The Mad Picker will NOT provide any delivery or transport of any nature for live auction items.
