A vertical modernist figural composition on canvas, signed Joy Long at the lower right. Two elongated, faceless figures in ochre and orange garments are arranged against a broadly worked gray-green field, each interacting with a small red ball connected by fine linear cords. Blue-black outlines and simplified geometry give the work a spare, mid-century character. Presented in a deep painted wood frame with a narrow inner liner. Overall dimensions are 22 inches wide by 37 inches high.
