Set of three traditional Tausug Saruk Nituh salakot hats from the Sulu Archipelago, Philippines, each crafted using layered nito vine, split bamboo, and leaf elements. These conical, ventilated hats feature the distinctive dark-and-light woven patterning associated with Tausug artisans, producing a textured, durable surface suitable for sun protection in coastal and agricultural settings.

The multi-layered dome forms and tight nito weaving reflect classic Tausug craftsmanship, with each hat showing variations in pattern and tone from hand-made production. These hats were traditionally worn for daily labor, travel, and ceremonial dress throughout the Sulu region.
