The Pioneer SM-B200A is a Japanese stereophonic tuner amplifier dating to 1961. Rated at 24 watts, it uses a hybrid complement of 15 vacuum tubes and four transistors. Separate tuning sections cover MW/SW and MW/FM reception, with source selectors for radio, phono and auxiliary inputs. Rear connections include selectable 4-, 8- and 16-ohm speaker terminals, FM multiplex connections and tape-recorder connections. The identification plate reads "Pioneer SM-B200A, Pioneer Electronic, Tokyo, Japan."
