Pair of framed commemorative displays featuring embroidered insignia from British colonial-era Hong Kong, prior to the 1997 handover.
One display features the pre-1997 Hong Kong flag and coat of arms surrounded by insignia representing colonial disciplined services, including the Royal Hong Kong Police, Hong Kong Fire Services, Correctional Services and Immigration Service.
The companion display is devoted to the Hong Kong Correctional Services (HKCS) and presents a selection of embroidered rank insignia. The prominent EIIR Royal Cypher and crown devices identify the insignia with the reign of Queen Elizabeth II and the British colonial administration.
