Ottoman-style spiked iron mace featuring a dark turned wood shaft and a metal ball head set with hammered-in iron nails/spikes. The head and collar retain age-darkened patina, and a small cord loop is attached near the upper grip. This compact club reflects Balkan and Middle Eastern mace traditions, where iron-spiked heads were used for ceremonial display, militia equipment, or later artisan souvenir production.

The construction - wood shaft, iron ball, individually driven spikes - closely parallels documented Ottoman and Balkan heavy clubs from the late 19th to early 20th century.

Type: Spiked iron mace / heavy club
Region: Ottoman / Balkan / Middle Eastern tradition
Materials: Turned wood shaft; iron ball head with hammered spikes
