Sansui Model 3000A solid-state AM/FM multiplex stereo tuner amplifier, produced during the late 1960s and rated at 45 watts per channel into 8 ohms. The brushed-metal and black faceplate is housed in a wood-grain cabinet and includes an illuminated analog tuning dial. Controls and connections include phono, tape-head, auxiliary and tuner selections; dual speaker-system switching; headphone output; bass, treble, balance and volume controls; loudness, low- and high-filter, tape-monitor, mono/stereo mode and muting switches. The rear panel provides RCA audio connections, antenna terminals, screw-type speaker terminals, a tape-recorder socket and switched and unswitched accessory outlets. The manufacturer plate specifies 220-volt AC operation at 50-60 cycles.
