Group of four Italian-language hardcover volumes concerning classical biography, Christianity, and Belarusian literature, published in Florence and Milan between 1877 and 1957. The books have cloth-covered bindings with gilt-stamped spine lettering and decorative labels. The Plutarch volume is Giovanni Lotti's abridged and annotated single-volume edition with 25 engravings drawn from ancient monuments. Ernest Renan's Vita di Gesù is translated by Filippo De Boni and includes an Ecce Homo frontispiece after Guido Reni. François Mauriac's Vita di Gesù is translated by Angiolo Silvio Novaro. Giuseppe L. Messina's La letteratura belorussa was printed in Italy in 1952.
