Group of three vacuum-tube electronic chassis. The EICO Electronic Instrument Co. Model 730 is a late-1950s high-level universal modulator-driver for amateur-radio transmitters. Its front panel incorporates a microphone input, gain and clipping-level controls, an over-modulation indicator, plate-supply switch and AC switch. Published specifications rate the Model 730 at 50 watts, with output-transformer matching from 500 to 10,000 ohms. The two brass-toned laboratory equipment control chassis are numbered 1355 and 1374. Serial 1355 has brake cut-off, high- and low-speed, RPM, current and vacuum adjustment controls, multipin circular connectors and a Beckman-marked transformer. Serial 1374 has control and refrigeration-solenoid indicators, sensitivity and temperature calibration controls, multipin connectors, transformer, tube sockets and installed components. Chassis markings include 12AT7, 12AX7 and 2D21 tube designations.
