A circa 1965 Armaco Model SA-30 stereo tube integrated amplifier housed in a gold-tone ventilated metal case. The front panel provides balance, treble, bass and volume controls, along with source selection and stereo, monaural and channel-reverse operating modes. The rear panel includes low-level tape-head and magnetic-pickup inputs, high-level tuner and auxiliary connections, separate channel speaker terminals with 4-, 8- and 16-ohm impedance selections, a speaker-phase control and three convenience outlets. The amplifier is rated for 117-volt, 60-cycle AC operation with 110-watt power consumption and a 3-amp fuse. The documented SA-30 circuit is an eight-tube Japanese-made design using three 12AX7 preamplifier tubes, four ECL82/6BM8 output tubes and a GZ34/5AR4 rectifier.
