Chinese eagle figurine depicting an eagle with wings fully extended, mounted on a rocky-form base and presented within a clear protective display case. The piece is housed in a fitted red presentation box with gold-colored satin lining.
Accompanied by an NGTC Identification Certificate of Precious Metal, No. CSZ48430. The certificate photographs the present eagle and records a total mass of 49.39 grams. It identifies the piece in Chinese as "?????", referring to a Qianzu-gold ornament.
Importantly, the stated 49.39 grams represents the total mass of the complete ornament and should not be interpreted as 49.39 grams of pure gold. The quantity, thickness and actual weight of gold used on or within the figurine are not stated on the certificate and have not been independently determined. Accordingly, no intrinsic or melt value based on the full 49.39-gram weight should be inferred.
