Pair of vintage Brentleigh Ware ceramic pieces produced by the Howard Pottery Co. in Staffordshire, England during the 1930s to 1940s. Each piece features the classic matte black body associated with Brentleigh's Art Deco period output, decorated with hand-painted raised 3D floral appliques in pastel tones including yellow, pink, and cream roses with green foliage. The forms reflect Brentleigh's decorative lines such as their urns, vases, and lidded jars, known for ridged or smooth bodies accented with applied multicolored florals. Highly collectible among enthusiasts of English pottery and Art Deco ceramics. The tallest piece measures approximately 20 inches.
