Antique spinner's chair, traditionally used alongside a spinning wheel or loom for wool or flax work. The chair features a tall, narrow backrest with a heart-shaped cutout and carved circular floral medallions, typical of regional European spinning furniture. The octagonal carved seat includes geometric and floral motifs, and is supported by turned legs, giving the piece both functional stability and decorative folk craftsmanship.

Spinner's chairs were intentionally built tall and upright to support proper posture during spinning, and often included symbolic carvings such as hearts, flowers, and rosettes. This example retains a warm, aged finish and hand-tooled detailing throughout. Approximate height: 34.5".

Seat - Octagonal carved seat with medallion and floral motifs.

Legs - Four turned legs typical of spinning furniture.

Dimensions - Approximately 34.5" tall.
