Antique hammered copper dance mask from La Parota, Guerrero, Mexico, crafted in the traditional Danza de los Sapos (Frog Dance) style. The mask features a human face framed within a stylized frog form, painted in green with yellow, white, and red accents. The hammered copper body shows hand-worked shaping, age-darkened patina, and period wear consistent with early 20th-century regional folk-dance masks.

These masks were used in community celebrations and ritual dances throughout Guerrero, combining animal symbolism with human features to represent transformation, fertility, and rain-calling themes. A strong example of Mexican folk-dance metalwork with expressive sculptural presence.
