Two boxed vintage flatware collections, including a Wm. A. Rogers / Oneida Ltd. silver-plated service and a separate 12-piece pearl-effect handled knife and fork set.
The larger collection is housed in a fitted wooden flatware chest and contains an assortment of table knives, forks, spoons and serving utensils with coordinating decorative handles. A visible piece is stamped "Wm. A. Rogers Service Plate - Oneida Ltd.", identifying the marked flatware as silver plate rather than sterling silver. The collection includes numerous place-setting and serving pieces; exact completeness and matching patterns are as pictured.
The second set is presented in a fitted satin-lined case and consists of six knives and six forks with white iridescent handles, metal collars and silver-colored blades and tines. The handles have a mother-of-pearl appearance; however, the exact material has not been independently identified and is not represented as genuine mother-of-pearl. A series of hallmarks is visible on one piece, but the maker and metal standard have not been conclusively identified from the available photographs.
